About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Production Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team.

Working within our production environment, you will be responsible for preparing, painting and finishing fabricated metal components and assemblies to a high standard. The role is primarily focused on achieving a consistent, durable and professional finish across a range of industrial products.

While some paint mixing and colour painting is required, this role is predominantly production-based and suited to candidates with experience in industrial, manufacturing or trade spray painting environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare products for painting including cleaning, sanding, masking and priming

  • Apply coatings using spray-painting equipment to achieve a consistent finish

  • Mix paints and perform colour painting when required

  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met

  • Identify and rectify paint defects and imperfections

  • Maintain spray guns, paint equipment and work areas

  • Follow production schedules and work instructions

  • Contribute to a safe, clean and organised work environment

  • Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirement

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in spray painting within a manufacturing, industrial or production environment

  • Minimum 3-5 years of spray painting experience

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

  • Experience with surface preparation and paint application techniques

  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards

  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality processes

  • Valid Australian work rights required
