Bruce Avery Transport is an Australian-owned family business specialising in linehaul freight from Perth to Darwin and servicing the regional areas. Our client list is large and includes major companies from all industries, including fellow transporters, mining, retail, construction, and agriculture.

We currently have a position for a Qualified Automotive Electrician to join our team at our South Guildford depot.

The Role:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on heavy vehicles and trailers

  • Installation, repair and maintenance of electrical components

  • Conduct maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, charging systems, and air conditioning systems

  • Maintaining workshop safety and housekeeping standards

  • Completing maintenance and repair documentation accurately

  • Working collaboratively with mechanics and workshop staff to minimise vehicle downtime

What you need:

  • Trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician

  • Experience working on heavy vehicles and trailers

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

  • Reliable, motivated and a positive attitude
