Press Brake Operator Metal Fabricator

We’re looking for a motivated Press Brake Operator / Metal Fabricator to join our metal fabrication workshop. This is a full-time role offering secure employment and variety in your day-to-day work.

About the role

WF Fabrications is locally owned metal fabrication business located in Bendigo, Victoria.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, has excellent attention to detail, and enjoys working as part of a small, quality focused team.

Your duties will include:

• Operating CNC press brake machinery

• Setting up press brake tools, dies, and equipment 

• Reading and interpreting workshop drawings

• Folding and forming sheet metal components to specification

• General metal fabrication and workshop duties

• Quality checking completed work

• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

• Assisting with loading, unloading and movement of materials as required

 About you 

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can step confidently into a busy workshop.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience operating a press brake in a fabrication environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Good problem-solving skills

• Current driver’s licence (essential)

• Forklift licence (desirable)

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Fabrication, Engineering or a related field is preferred

• Applicants with relevant industry experience will also be considered
