Experienced Sheet Metal Worker

Apex Building Products is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our Team in Helensvale! Sheet Metal Trade qualification is not essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Producing roofing and rainwater goods in our jobbing area
• Marking out and measuring from drawings
• Hand folding custom flashings and roofing components
• Fabricating rainwater heads and box gutter assemblies
• Welding of aluminium and steel  
• Operating folders, guillotines and brake press
• General sheet metal fabrication and assembly
• Ensure work area is maintained in a clean and safe state

 

About You

• 3+ years of experience as sheet metal worker/metal fabricator or metal worker required
• Sheet metal trade qualification is a plus, but no required
• Ability to read drawings and fabricate accurately without being handheld
• Experience operating sheet metal machinery
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
