About the Role

SMS Mining Services is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics for an immediate start to join our brand-new workshop facility. This is a fixed-term 8 - 10 week workshop-based role, responsible for the maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, fault finding, and repair of heavy mining equipment, including CAT and Komatsu haul trucks, loaders, and excavators.

Working as part of a safety-focused team, you’ll ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to OEM standards while supporting equipment reliability and performance across our operations.

What We’re Looking For
  • Australian / NZ recognised Trade Certificate - Mechanical
  • Unlimited Australian working rights
  • Experience with CAT and Komatsu equipment (Highly regarded)
