Mtec Mechanical Services are currently seeking qualified Mechanical Tradespeople to join our experienced, motivated & dynamic onsite rebuild teams.

  • Onsite based roles, field service vehicle or fuel allowance - dependant on site.

  • Permanent full-time onsite rebuild team roles.

  • Mining equipment overhauls at our customers onsite locations, workshop based. Electric & mechanical drive haul trucks, & ancillary asset rebuilds & PCR projects.

  • Trade upgrades available to suitable applicants with relevant mechanical trade - Mtec employees have completed many successful trade upgrades over the last 3yrs - plant & heavy vehicle maintenance, or site experience essential.

About You

  • Mechanical & Electric Drive Haul truck overhaul experience highly regarded

  • Previous ancillary mining equipment overhaul experience desirable

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, & a high level of quality workmanship

  • Ability to adhere to safe work practices, policies and procedures

  • Australian recognised Mechanical Trade certificate (Mobile Plant desirable)

  • NSW Certificate of Proficiency

  • Must be eligible to work in Australia with no restrictions

  • Current Australian Driver's License essential

  • Proven reliability with punctuality and attendance

  • Ability to pass or have a current Order 45 Coal Board Medical  

  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills

  • MDG25, WSAH, Glencore Generic Inductions highly regarded

  • HRWL Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging, C6, Confined Space licenses advantageous.
