 Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Plutonic Gold Mine produces 85koz of gold annually. The Company also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, the Company plans to bring three new mining areas at Plutonic into production.

Working an 8:6 roster, departing from Perth you'll fly directly to Plutonic arriving within 90mins of departure. Once onsite you are accommodated in a well-established camp that boasts a substantial gym, squash courts, multipurpose court, pool, and modern ensuite rooms with WiFi, just to list some of the facilities.

The Role

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor – Fixed Plant, the Electrician is responsible for completing electrical maintenance and installation tasks in all surface operations (including the village), by ensuring all work practices/procedures meet statutory, Company OHS&E and Company operational standards within the Surface Maintenance Department.

The ideal candidates will have:

• Electrical Trade Qualification

• Minimum 3 years of Electrical experience on a mine site

• Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence

• Working at Heights and Confined Space Ticketed

• Demonstrated application of safe working procedures and inspection techniques

• Sound understanding of Fixed Plant maintenance principles and their application in practice

• Sound knowledge of the operation of fixed processing plant equipment

• HV switching ticket

• Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
