As Western Australia's premium drill experts, our team at RPF Mining & Mechanical are committed to providing specialised underground production drill maintenance, operation, and training across local and regional Western Australia.

Current Job Opportunity

  • Diesel Motor Mechanic / Field Service Technician.

  • Salary range: $70 - $90 p/h – pending experience.

  • Full Time

  • Variable roster.

  • Mobilise from Perth (FIFO/DIDO) to various locations across the WA Pilbara and Goldfields regions.

  • Field service ute supplied

Requirements:

  • Trade certificate in Heavy Mobile Plant, Mobile Plant or Diesel Motor

  • Able to provide National Police clearance (within 6 months of commencement)

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol screens

  • Valid manual Australian driver's license

  • Underground experience on machines such as Sandvik & Epiroc

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

  • Experience in the underground environment highly regarded

  • Hydraulic & Pneumatic experience.

  • Excellent Communication Skills.

  • Good attitude and work ethic

As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintain and repairing various types of mining equipment and machinery. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet.


Responsibilities:

  • Component Change outs of a variety of underground mining equipment including Sandvik, Epiroc.

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting of mechanical faults

  • Conduct routine inspections and schedule maintenance of plant equipment.
