The Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Field Service Diesel Fitters to join our team.

This role is primarily field-based, providing onsite maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown support, and repairs across a range of heavy vehicles and equipment operating within mining, gas, and infrastructure environments.

You’ll be trusted to work independently, manage your time effectively, and represent HEQ professionally on client sites.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Field service breakdown response

• Fault finding and diagnostics

• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

• Repairs to heavy vehicles and mobile equipment

• Completing job paperwork and reporting accurately

• Working safely in remote and site-based environments

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for reliable tradespeople who take pride in their work and can think on their feet in the field.

You will need:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Diesel Fitting or equivalent

• Current Driver’s Licence (HR desirable)

• White Card

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in field environments

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
