What’s on Offer
We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance crew supporting a large fleet of heavy mining equipment on site. Working within a supportive and safety-focused team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability and minimising downtime across operations.
This role offers a mix of planned maintenance, breakdown support, diagnostics, and component replacements on a range of mining machinery.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service, and repair heavy mobile mining equipment
- Complete component change-outs and machine overhauls
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical systems
- Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance activities
- Respond to breakdowns and provide efficient troubleshooting support
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and to site standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance and operations teams
- Support continuous improvement and workshop efficiency initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
- Experience working on mining or heavy earthmoving equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Current Queensland driver’s licence
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or the ability to obtain
