Agile Mining Services is a privately owned company, based in Adelaide, providing specialist technical, mining, and mineral processing services to the South Australian iron ore industry. Our operations located near Coober Pedy currently mine and export 3Mtpa+ high grade Iron ore.

About the Opportunity:

Agile Mining Services are seeking a Fixed Plant Boilermaker to join our Processing Team. The Boilermaker is responsible for providing specialised boiler making services to investigate, identify and perform trade-related maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery and vehicles safely according to site requirements.

The Key Responsibilities Include:

• Undertake plant inspections and report defects.

• Provide breakdown support to the crusher team.

• Understand engineering drawings and fabricate to specifications.

• Mig weld, arc gouge, arc weld, use oxy acetylene.

• Ability to build and install wear packages on machines.

• Ability to rebuild cone crushers and change liners.

• Willing and able to operate crusher on an as need basis.

• Work with the team to complete general maintenance activities.

• Generate shift reports and complete clear and detailed hand overs.

Essential Requirements:

• Current driver’s license 

• Current checks to work at a mine site.

• Australian Recognised Boilermaker Trade Certificate

• Certificate 3 engineering (fabrication)

• Ability to work long hours.

• Computer literate

• Exposure to the repair and rebuilding of crushing and screening equipment

Desirable:

• Work at heights 

• EWP ticket

• Confined space training

• Previous mine site experience

Pre-employment: 

• The successful candidate will be required to undertake a National Police Check, a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and other checks to work at a mine site.
