About Us:

APMS Operations Australia is a trusted provider of integrated industrial solutions, delivering high-quality engineering, fabrication, welding, maintenance, and asset management services across Australia and internationally.

Due to our ongoing success, we require multiple experienced personnel to be a part of the APMS team on various projects and locations throughout Australia for the remainder of 2026. Temporary Residents and Residents encouraged to apply.

We are looking to mobilise qualified candidates, that match the criteria below, in the coming weeks.

Shutdown and Project dates: (but not limited to)

New Caledonia - 21.06.2026 - 20.07.2026,

Port Hedland - 20.07.2026 - 2.08.2026

Pilbara - 6.07.2026 - 15.07.2026

Central WA - 2.07.2026 - 11.07.2026  

Trades Required:

·              Mechanical Fitters

·              Boilermakers

Must Have:

·              Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (if applicable)

·              Demonstrated shutdown experience

·              Have the ability to pass a weld testing (if applicable)

·              Capacity to work various rosters

·              Hold a valid driver’s licence

·              Hold a valid Working in Confined Spaces ticket

·              Hold a valid Working at Heights ticket

·              Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & LAB DAS

·              Proactive, teamwork skills, and high safety standards

Key Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: 

• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, gouging and metal forming activities to required standards.

• Conduct maintenance, repair and modification work on plant and equipment.

• Operate equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to cut and shape metal or raw materials.

This work may require successful applicants to perform alternative duties. This will be in line with capabilities and skill sets, and where appropriate training will be provided.
