Underground HV Electrician – FIFO | Multiple Rosters | $85–$95 per hour πŸ› οΈ Opportunity Join a well-established electrical contractor delivering underground and surface work across WA mining operations. You’ll be working in production environments across multiple sites, not tied to a single project, with consistent ongoing work and strong earning potential.
This is a hands-on role focused on HV maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown response underground β€” ideal for someone confident working autonomously and keeping operations running.

πŸ“‹ Duties
  • Carry out underground HV electrical maintenance on fixed plant and infrastructure
  • HV isolation and switching on site
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting in production environments
  • Breakdown response to get equipment back online quickly
  • Preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Work across underground systems including pumps, fans, conveyors and dewatering
  • Interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Complete reports and update maintenance systems
  • Work closely with operators and supervisors to maintain uptime
  • Follow strict safety and isolation procedures

πŸŽ“ Experience

  • WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
  • HV Switching Ticket (essential for top tier candidates)
  • Strong underground mining experience (highly regarded)
  • Proven fault finding and breakdown experience
  • Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced production environments
  • White Card, LVR/CPR, First Aid
  • Manual Driver’s Licence
  • Full Australian working rights
