AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold exploration and development company with big plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and are now expanding our operations across multiple sites, including the exciting new Nullagine Gold Project.
About the role
Based at the Warrawoona Gold Project, this is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing gold producer, where you will have the opportunity to work with a highly experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we are looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter who will be accountable for performing preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and installation tasks associated with the mechanical maintenance of our 2.5m tonne/year gold plant.
This role is a permanent opportunity on a 15 days on, 13 days off roster , FIFO from Perth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct maintenance on all fixed plant including equipment such as mill, crushers, conveyors, gearboxes, screens and pumps
Complete preventative maintenance such as inspections, servicing and adjustments
Conduct timely breakdown related maintenance such as troubleshooting, repairs and replacements
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and look for improvement opportunities
Participate in the nightshift rotational roster and respond to call outs as required
The Person
We are seeking applications from experienced Maintenance personnel who have:
3+ years experience with fixed plant mining equipment, particularly on gold or base metals plants
Previous experience with pumps and crusher rebuilds
Experience with processing plant preventative maintenance
