ConsMin produces some of the world’s highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance experienced Auto Electrician at our Woodie Manganese Operations, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara, working on a 2:2 FIFO roster from Perth.

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required to:

Conduct maintenance activities to the mining and support vehicle fleet, consisting predominantly of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.
Apply OEM maintenance practices, procedures, and information to required maintenance activities.
Conducting workshop maintenance and maintaining high housekeeping standards in work areas.
Diagnosing and repairing machines/equipment in both a workshop and field environment.
Diagnose and repair electrical systems when required.

Cert III Auto Electrician trade -Heavy (Australia recognised)
Valid C Class drivers’ licence.
National Police Clearance.
Current Air Conditioning licence.
Extensive product knowledge on CAT & Komatsu equipment.
Experience in performing auto electrical and air condition repairs on mining equipment.
Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.

Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months (or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
