Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics | HD Fitters

We are currently seeking experienced Fitters to support multiple underground hard rock mining operations across Australia. These opportunities involve working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 mining clients to deliver high-quality maintenance and breakdown support.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Not all roles require you to work UG.
• Breakdown & workshop roles available.
• Conducting rebuilds and component change-outs.
• Planned shutdown maintenance on UG machinery.
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults.
• Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on Sandvik, Caterpillar, Epiroc, Volvo and Normet machinery.

• Rates up to $100 per hour casual pending experience.
• Work for a 100% privately owned Australian Company.
• Rostered Maintenance or Field Service spots available.
• Subcontractor, Casual or Full-Time contracts available.

To be considered, you must hold the following:

• Valid Australian Working Rights
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with mining & heavy equipment.
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant).
• Ability to pass full pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening.
