We’re seeking experienced Underground Heavy Diesel Mechanics to support multiple underground mining operations across Australia. We offer consistent, long-term work across multiple sites — not just short-term shutdowns.

The Opportunity

• FIFO or DIDO from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast

• 8/6 roster (Thursday to Thursday)

• Paid 12-hour shifts

• Opportunities across established underground operations

• Well-maintained fleets and strong site support

• Temp to Perm pathway opportunities

What You’ll Be Doing

• Mechanical repairs, servicing and breakdown support on underground and surface mobile plant

• Working across equipment including Sandvik and Epiroc drill rigs, charge rigs, CAT, Epiroc and Sandvik load & haul fleets, plus ancillary support equipment

• Diagnostics and fault-finding using OEM and computerised diagnostic systems

• Preventative maintenance and defect management to site standards

• Working safely, following site procedures and contributing to a strong team culture

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic

• Minimum 1 year underground mobile plant experience
  (UG trucks, loaders and ancillary equipment — drill rig experience highly advantageous)

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability

• Experience with OEMs such as Sandvik, Epiroc, Normet, Volvo and CAT (or similar)

• Ability to work FIFO rosters including day and night shift rotations

Ability to obtain and/or hold:

• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

• Pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

OEM training, diagnostic software experience or dealership background will be highly regarded.
