DETEKD is currently seeking Underground Electricians for an immediate start to join our Team at various Mine Sites in Moranbah Queensland in a FIFO/DIDO role. These roles are on a 12hr/day 7on 7off roster.

The Role: 

We are currently seeking qualified Underground Electricians with a very high standard of work and work ethic. Installation and Maintenance experience required demonstrating attention to detail. The correct candidate must display excellent risk management and safety behaviours.

Underground Electrician minimum skills and experience required:

• Underground Coal experience (more than 18 moths coal experience preferred)

• Current Coal Board Medical/CBM (newly known as HA)

• Current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment

• Relevant Trade Certificates

• QLD Electrical License

• LVR / CPR (within 12 months)

• EEHA: Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas Certificate

• Valid Driver’s License

• Electrical Trade Background – with experience and knowledge of wiring systems and control.
