Field Service Drill Mechanic.

DRILLREP Australia are seeking experienced Field Service Blast Hole Drill Mechanics to join our growing team supporting mining operations throughout WA

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and breakdown repair of blast hole drill rigs in field environments. This is a hands-on role requiring strong fault-finding abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Perform breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance on blast hole drill rigs.
Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
Complete component change-outs including engines, hydraulic pumps, compressors, rotary heads, feed systems, and gearboxes.
Conduct machine inspections and condition reporting.
Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Complete maintenance documentation and service reports.
Work closely with site personnel to maximise equipment availability and reliability.
Maintain a strong safety focus and comply with site procedures.

Equipment Experience Desired

Experience working on one or more of the following:

GD5000 drills
Epiroc Pit Viper D65 and T45 drills
Sandvik Ranger and Leopard Series drills
Caterpillar MD Series drills
Exploration drill rigs and associated support equipment
