About the role

Phoenix Goldfields Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Boilermaker Supervisor to join our team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This is a casual role, Can lead to full time, offering the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments. As a Boilermaker Supervisor, you will play a vital part in the maintenance and repair of our machinery and equipment, maintaining relationships with our current clients to ensuring optimal performance and productivity. Supervision of our existing and growing team.

What you'll be doing

1. Heavy earthmoving equipment refurbs , shutdowns, general fabrication.

2. Scoping and quoting fabrication works, Liaise with clients.

3. Operate cutting, air arc gouging, welding, and other metal-working equipment to shape and join metal components.

4. Perform inspections and maintenance on site.

5. Collaborate with the broader maintenance team to identify and resolve issues quickly.

6. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

7. Supervise onsite shutdown works.

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification in Heavy Fabrication or Boilermaking

2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Boilermaker Supervisor, preferably in a mining or industrial environment

3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

4. Strong welding and metal fabrication skills

5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

6. Good computer and typing skills

7. Leadership and people skills

8. Commitment to workplace health and safety

9. Any level of S26 certification will be accepted for this position
