About the role
MCJ Maintenance & Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Diesel Fitter to join our team in Brisbane. Covering all of SEQ and northern NSW.

This fulltime field service role will require you to repair and service a variety of earthmoving equipment, trucks, trailers and chippers and will include:

• Carrying out scheduled maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.

• Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and hydraulic systems

• Completing repair tasks such as parts replacement, rebuilding, and adjustments to keep our fleet & customers fleets operating at optimum levels

• Maintaining detailed records of all service and repair work carried out on our system

• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth operation of our business

• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations

You will bring with you:

• Mechanical Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter is essential

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Diesel Fitter POST TRADE

• Australian HR License

• Australian work rights are essential for this position

• Have a "get it done" attitude

• Work independently without direct supervision

• Diagnose mechanical & electrical faults confidently

• Repair engines, driveline, braking, suspension & steering systems

• Work efficiently under pressure

• Maintain high attention to detail & take pride in your work

• Excellent mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety

• BASE ROSTER: Monday to Friday roster 38hrs + 2hrs overtime each week
