Looking for a field service role that doesn't involve night shift, FIFO or endless time away from home?

BTP is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians to join our Mt Thorley team servicing CAT mining equipment across NSW.

Enjoy an even-time lifestyle roster (5:4, 4:5), day shift only, a fully equipped field service vehicle + Fuel card and the opportunity to work with some of the industry's best technicians while maintaining a lifestyle that lets you enjoy your time away from work.

About You

You are a trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, ideally gained working on CAT mining equipment in a field service or mining environment.

You will bring:

· Passionate about maintaining a high level of workmanship ensuring equipment reliability exceeds customer expectations

· A problem solver with analytical skills and a drive for quality improvement

· Knowledge and application of Occupational Health and Safety within the mining industry

· Experience in customer facing role promoting positive customer relationships

· Expert knowledge of CAT mining equipment with good diagnostic skills

· Firm understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems

· Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to completing a Full Pre-Employment Medical, Coal Service History Check and National Police Clearance)

· Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology (NSW Certificate of Proficiency).

· Australian Driver Licence - Required

· Current Order 45 Coal Board Medical - preferred

· Current Dogging & Forklift HRWL - preferred

· Current Working at Heights & TRG training - preferred
