About the role: 

The Fixed Plant Maintenance team is currently seeking a Maintainer Boilermaker to join them on a 7 Days on, 7 Nights on, 14 Days off based at Roy Hill mine. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient maintenance and repair work within planned and unplanned schedules for the Fixed Plant  

As a dedicated and positive team contributor you will be pro-active in the rectification of plant equipment issues, minimise downtime and improve/sustain plant availability. 

 
Duties: 

• Identify, diagnose, scope, and safely execute repairs 

• Lead and collaborate with Contractor Shutdown teams in offline task execution 

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and ensure works are completed in compliance with Roy Hills Safety Policies and Procedures 

• Complete daily inspections of equipment and reporting on its condition 

• Complete Maintenance Work Orders electronically via the Roy Hill Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP 

• Involvement in routine maintenance of specialised fabrication/ welding/cutting equipment 

Skills and Experience: 

• Australian Recognised Boilermaker Trade Certificate 

• Current WA Drivers Licence, Unrestricted C Class Manual 

• Previous experience working within a large-scale mining environment as well as experience with balance machines, crushing and conveyor systems desirable 

• Forklift, Confined Space & Working at Heights 

• Strong understanding of Critical Risks associated with Fixed Plant Maintenance 

• Hydraulic experience, alignment skills, CSE, EWP desirable
