East Perth, 6004, Perth, Western Australia
Full time
About the role
Working from a clean, modern Perth workshop, you will strip down, assess, rebuild and reassemble major mining components to OEM standard, with a strong focus on transmissions. This is a permanent, workshop-based role (not FIFO, not field service) with a well-established business that is growing its Western Australian operation. We are looking for two skilled Component Rebuilders to join the team.
What is on offer
Permanent, full-time, workshop-based in Perth. No FIFO.
4 on, 3 off roster, 12-hour days, rotating Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday every six months. A three-day weekend, every single week.
Strong hourly rate, with optional overtime at a premium fixed rate if you choose to work a day off.
Generous annual and personal leave.
A clean, modern, well-equipped workshop and a team that takes real pride in the work. No ego, no drama, no one treated like a number.
What you will bring
Hands-on Caterpillar or Komatsu transmission rebuild experience. This one is essential.
Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter.
A proven component rebuild background in mining, construction or heavy industry.
Solid knowledge of drivetrains, hydraulics and rotating equipment, with strong precision tooling skills.
Pride in quality workmanship and a safety-first approach.
Full workrights for Australia (Sponsorship is not available)
Desirable
Exposure to final drives, torque converters, pumps and hydraulic motors.
Overhead crane or forklift ticket.
Experience in a structured component rebuild workshop.
If you know CAT and Komatsu transmissions inside out and want a permanent workshop role with a three-day weekend every week, we want to hear from you.
