About Us :

Technical Maintenance Support is a progressive, independently owned and operated company based in Geraldton, Perth, and Kalgoorlie, WA. We specialise in a wide range of services, primarily focused on fixed plant mining equipment throughout the Midwest and Pilbara regions.

We are currently seeking motivated Supervisors for Shutdown Projects from Perth, Kalgoorlie or Geraldton. Applicants should have a Mechanical Fitting or Fabrication background to join our team.

About the Role :

As a Shutdown Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing fixed plant specialised works across Milling, Crushing, and Conveying areas. We are seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors to lead teams on mine sites. This FIFO role involves supervising personnel, ensuring safety, productivity, and the successful delivery of projects.

• Proven experience supervising major shutdowns, outages, and specialised works

• Lead and develop your team while promoting a strong safety culture.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor workflows with clients and internal teams.

• Deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

• Maintain professionalism on-site and with clients.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

• Flexibility to mobilise at short notice (all site travel is coordinated and paid by the employer)

• Effective communication skills to liaise with Superintendents and Planners

• Attention to detail for accurate reporting, including photos of onsite works

• Preferred (but not essential): knowledge of bearing fitment, laser and gear alignments

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years leadership experience in Shutdowns as Leading Hand or Supervisor

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Fabrication

• White Card

• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word & Excel

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Confined Space & Working at Heights (completed within the last 2 years)

• S26 - Statutory Supervisor

• Valid Police Clearance
