Topend Diesel Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter / Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time role with multiple roster options, offering a competitive hourly rate, regular overtime, and become part of a great team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, earthmoving machinery, cranes, and other industrial vehicles.

• Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Conducting on-site repairs, roadside assistance, and field service work using a company utility vehicle.

• Maintaining detailed records of all work performed.

• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

• Collaborating with the wider team to share knowledge and best practices.

• On-call roster available

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, or similar.

• Experience in truck and trailer maintenance (highly regarded).

• Field service experience preferred.

• Current Queensland C Class driver licence.

• MC licence highly regarded.

• Confidence in diagnosing and problem solving while working alone.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Commitment to high quality workmanship and safe work practices.

• $50-$70/hour base rate (depending on experience and work location).

• Paid overtime with applicable penalty rates.

• Full-time, Monday to Friday / 7&7 DIDO.
