Weipa is home to Amrun bauxite mine (Rio Tinto). As a local plumber employed by Goodline, you will play a key role as your trade is in high demand in this region. You will have the opportunity to work both on Goodline and Rio Tinto sites, boosting your experience and repertoire.

Ideally you will have several years of experience in similar environments. Plumbers who hold machinery tickets will be at an advantage (excavator, skid steer, loader etc.).

About the role:

• Monday to Friday + opportunity for weekend work.

• Initial assistance with accommodation if required (for employee)

• Living allowance on top of gross wages

About you:

You are trade qualified with valid qualifications and trade certificates recognised in Australia.

You must hold or be willing to obtain the below

• Trade certificate

• QLD Plumbing Licence (Or willing to apply for mutual recognition)

• Hepatitis A&B Serology Test (Advantage)

• Construction Card

• Willing to undergo Pre-employment checks and Medicals

• Willing to undertake relevant site access required training

• Ready to pack up and relocate to a new adventure

If you are an individual who is

• Collaborative with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards

• Maintains a strong understanding of safety procedures and practices within mining /domestic environments

• Can work autonomously as well as part of a crew

• Excellent at problem-solving and has excellent attention to detail
