Key responsibilities of the role include:

Fabrication, maintenance, and repair of heavy mining equipment and structural components
Conducting welding, cutting, grinding, and metal fabrication in accordance with site safety standards
Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
Performing shutdown and breakdown maintenance in high-pressure mining environments
Maintaining compliance with mine site safety procedures, permits, and isolation requirements

What you’ll bring:

Sound health and safety understanding, with ability to handle equipment to Monadelphous and site safety standards.
Extensive experience in welding, fabrication, and maintenance within mining, construction, or heavy industrial environments
Competency using a range of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
