Welder - Defence - Night Shift

The Perks

• $83+ per hour (inc. 25% casual loading+ 30% shift loading) + overtime
• Every second Friday off (9-day fortnight)
• Night shift available now
• 11:00pm - 7:30am (with every 2nd Friday being 10:00pm - 6:00am)

Core Duties

• MIG & Flux Core welding on heavy structural steel
• Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specs
• Maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a practical Weld Test
• Strong background in heavy fabrication and MIG/Flux Core.
• A "safety-first" mindset in a workshop environment

As a Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearances including NSSIC and ITAR.
