Carpenter Leading Hand

Tallan Group is a growing construction and insurance building repairs company based in North Lakes, delivering high-quality repair works. We’re looking for a skilled, reliable Carpenter/Leading Hand to join our team and support our growing workload.

About the Role.

This is a varied, hands-on role (on the tools and as a leading hand/supervisor) working across mid-sized to large construction projects, guiding our on-site team and project delivery to success. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working closely with the lead project manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities.

• Supervise internal and external trades.

• Carry out commercial carpentry.

• Work from scopes, plans, and job instructions.

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and site safety.

• Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders and office staff.

About You

• Trade-qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent).

• Experience has a Leading Hand or in a similar role.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work autonomously.

• Current driver’s licence and own tools.

• A supervisor's licence will be highly regarded.
