About the role

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Field Service Diesel Mechanic to join our expanding service team in Launceston, Tasmania. The role requires you to work on technologically advanced equipment, either on-site or in the workshop.

Tasks & Responsibilites

  • Report to the Branch Manager

  • Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained for the range of products sold and supported by Randalls

  • Provide accurate service reports on completed work

  • New machine builds as required

  • Field service assignments

  • New machine deliveries

  • Maintain a safe working environment

Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience working within diesel mechanic industry would be highly regarded 

  • Experience in hydraulic and electrical systems desired

  • Possess a high level of technical understanding of heavy mobile equipment

  • Ability to manage time between multiple equipment maintenance projects

  • Testing/adjusting advanced hydraulic and electrical systems is advantageous

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Continual learning and development mindset would be advantageous

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • MS Office and ability to use a computer is essential
