Redmond Gary is a long established, well-respected and continuously growing manufacturer based at Molendinar on the Gold Coast, whose diverse range of Elevating Work Platforms and Cable Handling Equipment is highly regarded in the Electrical and Mining industries throughout Australia.

This permanent position is available for an Auto Electrician to become a valued member of our team, where your skills are appreciated and your dedication is rewarded.

On the job training will be provided where necessary. 

The role is varied and includes;

  • Carry out electrical assembly work on Redmond Gary manufactured EWPs, Cable Trailers and Winches.

  • Interpreting circuit diagrams for assembly and diagnostics 

  • Complete equipment in line with manufacturer's specifications and time frames.

  • Assembly of wiring harnesses and installation of accessories.

  • Rebuilding and reconditioning of older Redmond Gary equipment.      

  • Working as part of a team to focus on improvement in producing high quality products.

Skills & Attributes Required 

  • Trade qualification as automotive electrician.  

  • Experience fitting ancillary equipment and harnesses an advantage 

  • Exceptional fault finding skills

  • High attention to detail, capacity to learn, self-motivated, great work ethic 

  • Ability to work overtime when required 

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • Basic numeracy and communication skills

  • Must hold Australian work rights

Qualifications Required

  • Certificate 3 in Automotive Electrical Technology AUR30320
