About the Role

Australian Meat Group, a leading meat processing and export company, is seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our team. This role will be responsible for carrying out fabrication, welding, and maintenance work across our processing facilities, ensuring equipment and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard.

This is a permanent full-time position based at one of AMG’s processing sites in Dandenong.

Key Responsibilities

Perform stainless TIG, MIG, and stick welding
Carry out fabrication and repair work on plant equipment and infrastructure
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Assist with maintenance shutdowns and breakdown repairs
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Skills & Experience

Stainless TIG welding experience essential
MIG and stick welding experience required
Minimum Australian qualification: Certificate III in Fabrication
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Own transport preferred
