We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Pastry Chef to join our growing production team in Kent Town.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone passionate about pâtisserie and French-style baking who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. You will assist with the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, viennoiserie, and baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety.
Position Details
Part-time position (25–30 hours per week)-
Tuesday to Friday
Early starts from 6am/7am
Located in Kent Town, Adelaide
Long-term full-time opportunities available for the right candidate as the business continues to grow
Responsibilities
Assisting with daily pastry and viennoiserie production
Preparing doughs, fillings, creams, and baked products
Helping with lamination and pastry preparation
Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Assisting with packing and production organisation
Working efficiently within a fast-paced kitchen team
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in pâtisserie, pastry, or baking preferred
Minimum 1+ years of experience in pâtisserie, pastry, or baking required
Strong attention to detail and organisation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work early morning shifts
Valid driver's licence preferred due to limited public transport access
Valid Australian work rights or work visa required
