Are you looking to start a career in the roofing industry? We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Apprentice Metal Roofer / Roof Plumber to join our team in the beautiful Coffs Harbour region.
As an apprentice, you’ll receive hands-on training, work alongside experienced professionals, and gain valuable skills in metal roofing and roof plumbing. There will also be some travel involved to various job sites in the area. Please note that this is hard physical labor, and the hours can be quite long.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of metal roofing and plumbing systems.
Learn and apply roofing and plumbing techniques under the guidance of skilled tradespeople.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for roofing tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong interest in the roofing and plumbing trade.
Must have a current driver’s license and a White Card.
Previous construction experience is preferred but not essential.
Willingness to work away in Brisbane, Glen Innes & Armidale. (Accomodation provided and away from home allowance paid)
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Good physical fitness, as this job involves hard physical labour.
The ability to work long hours when required.
