We operate out of a state-of the-art facility in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, with an additional network of sales offices and warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team, responsible for the fabrication and assembly of a range of Food Service Equipment products. This role involves complex fabrication work, which requires advanced TIG welding skills. Ideal candidates will have completed an apprenticeship, hold a sheet metal trade qualification, or possess equivalent industry experience. While specialisation within the role is possible, team members are expected to be proficient across all processes.
6am -2:30pm Monday-Friday
More specifically your duties will include the following:
Confirm fabrication requirements from drawings
Undertake general fabrication and assembling tasks
Undertake welding
Gluing down
Complete basic wiring
Quality control
Undertake housekeeping
In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:
Skilled at applying manual handling techniques
Skilled at TIG welding
Skilled at gluing processes
Experience in wiring up
Competent in safe operation of relevant hand and power tools
Basic knowledge of relevant workplace legislation
Ability to demonstrate enhanced verbal and written communication skills incorporating MS Office
The following criteria are considered desirable:
Trade qualification in sheet metal
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
