Diesel Mechanic

About the Role

You will mainly be responsible for maintaining, fault diagnosing and repairs of a variety of mechanical equipment relating to energy services such as diesel engines, transmissions, drive train components, pumps, sand conveyor systems and hydraulic & pneumatic systems.

This position reports to the Supervisor and will be based in Jandakot, WA on either a 3/3 or 2/2 roster FIFO to our remote operations. You may also be required to work at any one of our various operations in WA, SA, or QLD on an ad-hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance procedures on Halliburton equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems 

• Installs and/or replaces new or reconditioned repair parts

• Test equipment for proper operation

Role Requirements

• Heavy Mechanic/Road Transport Trade Certificate

• Flexibility to travel to site when required (Essential) 

• Experience with Cummins and Caterpillar engines (Desirable)

• Experience with hydraulic systems (Highly regarded)

• Current Australian Driver’s license (HR Desirable)
