What you’ll be doing

  • Inspect, service and repair fixed plant equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot faults and minimize downtime through proactive repairs
  • Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex problems and make accurate repairs.
  • Perform regular schedule preventive maintenance and safety checks
  • Support new equipment installations and project upgrades
  • Collaborate across teams and assist other trades when needed

What you’ll bring

  • Trade certificate – Plant/Fitter Mechanic is required – Forklift ticket desirable
  • Experience with waste assets, compactors or mobile plant is essential (Forklift/Compactor)
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills
  • Reliable, with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Physically capable
