Tradesman Painter & Leading Hand - Immediate Start

The Role - **IMMEDIATE START**

Platinum Painting & Maintenance are seeking a talented Qualified Tradesman Painter & a Leading Hand to join our team in Newcastle. You will be responsible for providing high-quality painting services to our diverse range of residential and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Interior & Exterior painting on high end residential, commercial and strata properties

• Meeting Deadlines while maintaining high quality work

• Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, gapping, filling and priming to a high standard

• Applying paint, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spraying equipment

• Experience with spray painting equipment is preferred but not required

• Mixing and matching colours to client specifications

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance on surfaces as needed

• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction

• Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Leading Hand - running a small team of tradesman to ensure deadlines are met and work is kept to a high quality.

• Leading hand - Managing materials within a budget, picking up materials as required.

What we're looking for

• Qualified Tradesman Painter (cert 3 in Painting & Decorating at TAFE)

• Minimum 2 Years Experience

• Own tools

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work

• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently or part of a team

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Permanent resident of Australia

• Punctual, reliable & honest

• Leading hand - Ability to run a small team of tradesman

• Previous leading hand experiences a must.
