Residential Carpenter

Role Overview:
As a Carpenter, you will be integral to the construction and carpentry activities on new build, extensions and renovations in Sydney. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will uphold high standards of finish and contribute to Sydney’s most prestigious homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Collaboration: Work alongside skilled carpenters throughout all construction phases.
• Project Coordination: Maintain effective communication with the Site Manager to ensure smooth operations.
• Comprehensive Project Experience: Apply your expertise from early structural works through to final handover.
• Technical Proficiency: Accurately interpret construction plans, scopes and specifications.
• Site Operations Support: Assist in daily construction site activities.
• Carpentry Expertise: Perform high-end internal and external works including framing, detailed fit-off, window/door installs, structural carpentry and feature finishes.
• Collaborative Execution: Work closely with builders and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in high-end residential projects
• Strong communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of building and carpentry techniques
• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Desire for long-term employment with pathways into Leading Hand or Foreman roles
• Reliable transportation, PPE, valid driver’s license and current construction white card
