After completing a number of successful tenders, Commercial Formwork Sub - Contractor are now looking to build out their formwork team, increasing workflow and productivity across their sites. Whilst delivering high quality formwork solutions.

Specializing in formwork design and construction, including slabs, walls, columns, and intricate architectural finishes. PROJECT INFO

• Project values range from $500,000 to $1.5 million.
• Projects include high-end residential and low-level commercial buildings, such as four to twelve-story apartments.
• Project locations are on the Gold Coast and in northern New South Wales, within 50 km of the central Gold Coast.

 

ROLE DUTIES

• Work as a Formwork carpenter leading hand.
• Moving into a foreman / leading hand position
• Maintain client relationships, problem-solve, and manage different personalities
• Experience with conventional formwork systems or wall systems is advantageous
• Managing a crew of 3 to 8 workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and supporting skills development. Supervisors are encouraged to build and maintain a reliable core team
• Maintaining professional relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing queries or concerns, and representing the company with integrity.

 

EXPERIENCE/SKILLSET

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in formwork carpentry, with proven leadership in site-based roles.
• Demonstrated experience in high-end residential and low-rise commercial projects (especially apartments and small complexes).
• Experience working with conventional formwork systems and wall systems
• Advanced carpentry and formwork skills, including slabs, walls, columns, and intricate architectural features.
• Team-leading experience, managing crews of 3 to 8 members.

 

PACKAGE

• Full time $55\hr
• Performance-based bonuses.
• Fuel and car expenses (registration, tires, servicing, etc.) covered.
• Mon-Fri. 5-day program.
• A full-time, permanent position within a growing business
• Consistent pipeline of projects
