ChoiceOne are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing operation based in Neerabup. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with the view to permanency after a qualifying period.

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on fixed plant equipment, with exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, and light welding duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment
  • Fault finding and breakdown response
  • Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Light fabrication and welding work as required
  • Preventative maintenance activities
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Working within a manufacturing and production setting

Essential Requirements

  • Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fixed Plant Fitter
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working at Heights ticket
  • Confined Space ticket
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
  • Ability to work safely and effectively within a team
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Available for an immediate start

Desirable

  • Forklift Licence
  • Basic welding experience
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
