Painter & Decorator

About the role

Damien Frew Painting is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting and decorating services to both residential and commercial clients in the local area.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding and applying primer

2. Painting walls, ceilings, and trim using brushes, rollers, and sprayers

3. Hanging and removing wallpaper

4. Mixing paint colours to match specific requirements

5. Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment throughout projects

6. Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients

7. Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Painter & Decorator, preferably in the Trades & Services industry

2. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment

3. Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications

4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

5. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

6. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and perform physical labour

7. Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

8. Full driver's licence required

9. Australian citizenship required
