Heavy Diesel Mechanic – WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN

CJD Equipment is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join our highly experienced Hobart team. You’ll get hands-on experience working with KENWORTH & DAF trucks, as well as VOLVO construction equipment. Our mechanics take pride in delivering top-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction by getting the job done right the first time!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working on industry-leading trucks and equipment.

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing to customer and CJD standards.

• Utilizing computer-based service diagnostics and your knowledge of parts.

• Maintaining exceptional safety and quality workmanship standards.

What We’re Looking For:

Your application will stand out if you have:

• An Australian-recognized Heavy Diesel Motor Mechanic trade certificate.

• Experience in maintenance, service, repairs, and rebuilds of heavy vehicles, including electrical diagnostics and repairs.

• A proactive approach to safety—your well-being matters to us!

• Competency with PC programs and diagnostic equipment.

• Experience in transport (HV) and/or earthmoving equipment.

• A stellar attitude and strong communication skills.
