Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Accurately measure, estimate, and prepare required painting materials and surface coatings.
Thoroughly prepare interior and exterior surfaces by scraping, sanding, filling cracks/holes, and removing old paint or wallpaper.
Expertly mix, match, and blend paint colours to meet client specifications.
Apply premium paint, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using high-quality brushes, rollers, and advanced airless spray equipment.
Collaborate closely with team members and other trades on site to ensure flawless project execution.
Erect ladders, trestles, and scaffolding safely in strict accordance with NSW WHS regulations.
Maintain an immaculate job site, protect client property, and properly care for professional tools.
What We Are Looking For (Skills, Qualifications & Mindset):
Trade Qualification: AQF Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or an equivalent international trade qualification).
Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of proven, hands-on experience as a qualified painter.
Specialised Skills: Experience in airless spray painting and high-end residential finishes is highly desirable.
The Right Mindset: You must have a genuine pride in the detail. We deliver high-end work, so an exceptional eye for clean lines, flawless finishes, and precision is non-negotiable.
A Growth Mindset: We value continuous learning. You are someone who takes constructive feedback well, loves refining your trade, and actively looks for ways to improve.
Safety & Logistics: A valid White Card, an Australian Driver’s Licence (Manual preferred), and reliable transport.
