A leading organisation in the heavy vehicle and transport sector is looking for a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Technician to join its professional workshop team.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs on heavy vehicles and related equipment while maintaining high workshop standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on heavy vehicles
Carrying out servicing, repairs and component replacements
Completing work in line with manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures
Recording job details, repair information and time allocations accurately
Supporting warranty documentation and parts tracking requirements
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
Working collaboratively with the broader service team to meet productivity targets
Following all safety procedures and workplace standards
Technicians play a key role in ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely and to the highest mechanical standards.
We are looking for technicians who are reliable, skilled and enjoy being part of a team.
You will bring:
Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
Experience working on trucks, heavy vehicles or transport equipment
Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
A focus on safety, quality and efficiency
Basic computer skills for service systems and job recording
A professional and team-focused attitude
Your own comprehensive hand tool kit
Experience with major truck brands will be highly regarded but is not essential.
