Welder Fabricator – Full Time, Part Time or Contract Available

Nook Tiny Homes is one of Australia’s leading modular and container home manufacturers based on the Gold Coast. We currently have a large fabrication backlog and are looking for an additional welder/fabricator to join the team immediately.

We’re flexible for the right person and can offer:

• Full-time employment

• Part-time work

• Contract / subcontract arrangements

• Flexible hours if needed

The work primarily involves fabrication and modification of shipping containers for high-end modular homes including:

• Structural steel fabrication

• Framing and reinforcing container openings

• Welding window and door frames

• General fabrication work

• Reading plans and working with the production team

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who takes pride in their work

• Reliable and able to work independently

• MIG welding experience essential

• Fabrication experience preferred

• Forklift ticket an advantage but not essential

• Trade qualified or near qualified considered

We already have a full-time welder in place and need another capable person to help increase output and keep fabrication moving.
