All Purpose Pumps has continued to grow over the years which facilitates a dedicated office and manufacturing facilities in Melbourne and Geelong in Victoria.

Summary:

As a Tank Installer, you will work under the guidance of a Team Leader to travel to various sites across Victoria, assisting in the construction and installation of water tanks in a range of shapes and sizes. These tanks serve critical purposes, including firefighting, drinking water storage, and other essential applications. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a small, hands-on team to ensure each installation is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct water tanks using galvanised steel and other materials to specification.

  • Adjust builds as needed in consultation with the Tank Install Lead.

  • Travel across Victoria (and occasionally interstate) with overnight stays (1–3 days, sometimes on short notice). Generous travel allowances apply.

  • Follow all Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and site safety protocols.

  • Attend site inductions and comply with drug/alcohol testing where required.

  • Represent the company with professionalism, a positive attitude, and a strong team spirit.

  • Support other site tasks as directed when installations are paused (e.g., due to weather).

  • Maintain a high level of WHS compliance and professional conduct at all times.

  • Start Location, Corio - Geelong each morning for Briefing and Team Huddle before heading to work site

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Prior experience in a similar installation or construction role.

  • Current Construction Induction Card (Red/White Card).

  • Confined Space Certification.

  • Physically fit – role involves lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Current unrestricted driver's licence.

  • Police Check and Working with Children Check.

  • Sound mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings/site plans.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication skills and reliability.

  • Plumbing qualification (preferred, not essential).

  • Forklift, HR and/or EWP licence (preferred, not essential).
