3T Barber is seeking a skilled and passionate Hairdresser to join its professional team. The salon is known for delivering high-quality grooming and hair services in a modern and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of hairdressing services, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are followed at all times. The Hairdresser will work closely with the team to support smooth daily operations and deliver excellent client experiences. Previous experience in a similar role and a passion for hair and styling are essential

Task & responsibilities

• Provide professional advice to clients on hair care, hairstyles, and suitable hair and beauty products
• Shampoo hair and condition scalps using appropriate hair care products and treatments
• Apply colouring, straightening, and permanent waving treatments using chemical solutions
• Cut and shape hair using scissors, clippers, razors, and other hairdressing tools
• Style hair using various techniques, including braiding, dreadlocks, and the application of hair extensions
• Shave and trim beards and moustaches to client specifications
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools and instruments are properly sanitised
• Schedule client appointments and process payments for services provided
• Clean, colour, cut, and style wigs and hairpieces as required

Qualification & experience

• AQF Certificate III in Hairdressing, including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in Hairdressing
• Minimum one year of relevant work experience as a Hairdresser or in a closely related role
