We are dedicated to delivering high-quality beauty services, including nails, waxing, tinting, and eyelash extensions, to residents of Dunsborough WA 6281 and the surrounding areas.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are seeking a full-time Beauty Therapist (Nail Technician) to join our team. This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nail and beauty services to clients, including nail care, nail enhancement treatments, waxing, tinting, and related beauty services (eyelash/eyebrow). The role requires strong technical skills, good customer service, and the ability to provide suitable treatment recommendations based on each client’s needs and preferences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide professional manicure and pedicure services, including nail trimming, shaping, buffing, exfoliation, moisturising, and cuticle care.
Apply, maintain, refill, and remove nail enhancement systems, including acrylic nails, SNS/dipping powder, and shellac.
Deliver hand and foot care treatments, including spa-style manicure and pedicure services.
Create customised nail finishes and designs, including French tips, seasonal designs, and other client-requested styles.
Provide eyelash and eyebrow tinting services according to client preferences and salon procedures.
Perform waxing services, including basic facial and body waxing treatments, in accordance with client needs and salon procedures.
Consult with clients regarding nail styles, polish colours, waxing needs, tinting options, brow presentation, and other suitable beauty enhancements.
Provide aesthetic recommendations to help clients achieve their preferred overall look.
Perform gentle hand and foot massage techniques as part of manicure and pedicure treatments.
Advise clients on nail care, hand and foot care, treatment options, and suitable aftercare products.
Assess the suitability and effectiveness of nail care products, treatment methods, and beauty techniques used in the salon.
Keep up to date with current nail trends, beauty techniques, products, and service developments.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of tools, equipment, treatment areas, and workstations.
Follow salon health, safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures at all times.
Assist with client bookings, appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate client service records.
Recommend appropriate nail care or cosmetic products to support client aftercare and satisfaction.
Assist with general salon duties and perform other reasonable tasks as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Certificate III or higher in Beauty Therapy, Nail Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical industry experience.
At least 1 year of recent and relevant experience providing nail services in a salon environment.
Strong practical skills in nail, waxing, eyelash and eyebrow tinting services.
Good communication/customer service skills.
Sound knowledge of salon hygiene, sanitation, and safe work practices.
Work well in a team & under pressure.
